packet of instant ochazuke mix
Ooooo . . . back-to-back bento. When was the last time I had time to do that? :P
If I have a hankering for something healthy and fast, ochazuke fits the bill. It basically is hot green tea poured over cooked rice and different toppings. I used an instant ochazuke packet here, but it is easy to make your own broth by brewing green tea and seasoning with a bit of salt. Add some slivers of nori and toasted sesame seeds to add some extra kick. Umeboshi and takuan are delicious in ochazuke as well!
