I ♥ longans

I was so excited to find longans at the Super H Mart this weekend. Granted they were in the frozen section, but they were frozen while fresh, right? :) Longans were one of my favorite fruits when I was in Vietnam - my aunt would put branches of them in a bowl with ice. I like the little explosion of juice when you bite into the peel. Yum! And I love how the fruit separates easily from the smooth pit in the center (unlike rambutans and lychee).
