And we have lift-off! The new Cooking Cute website is hereby officially launched.

The above rice rocket (hardy har har) is made from rice, nori, carrot, and red bell pepper. It is flying through fried rice space dotted by nori stars and various vegetable-like planetary bodies.

Well, I hope you enjoy the new website. I've included a plethora of information about bento, including history, packing advice, tutorials and decorating tips, links and resources, and much, much more (including info for celiacs). If you find any broken links, let me know! Also ping me if I missed your bento blog in the Links and Resources section (or if you have anything else to add).

I will still update my LJ as it is embedded into Cooking Cute. However, all links and information from LJ have been moved to the new site.

P.S. The site search via the search box on the main page doesn't work quite yet -- I assume because the site is new and hasn't been indexed yet. At some point, this will be a handy way to search Cooking Cute!
