Our friendly little egg-alien is nestled in some soup toppings for my lemongrass chili soup noodles (courtesy of A Taste of Thai).

The full bento bowl set is shown in the inset. The bottom tier holds the dried rice noodles; the upper tier (which has a domed white lid) contains the egg-alien, steamed baby zucchini slices and carrot stars, and sliced fried masala-flavored tofu from Sunergia; and the lid (which doubles as a bowl) holds the flavor packets for the broth. Just add hot water and mmm, mmm . . . yummy in my tummy!

Although I'm not sure if I can bring myself to eat the alien. I don't want to start a war of the worlds or anything. :P
