Chinese take-out

[round bento: one tier with brown-fried rice and beef and broccoli; second tier with veggies, fruit, pudding, and fortune cookie]

Right: combination fried brown rice with veggies, beef, shrimp, pork, and chicken; beef with broccoli and bamboo shoots
Left: cucumber flowers and grape tomatoes; plum slices and raspberries; mini-pudding and fortune cookie

I am almost fully back on the wagon. Everything is GF today except for the fortune cookie. =) Oh, and the pudding most likely is GF based on the ingredients list. I think that, if and when we start introducing gluten back into our diets, I always will opt for GF when I can. I am excited at the prospect of pleating dumplings again though . . . and making yakisoba . . . and trying out that matcha green tea baking mix I picked up on a (hopeful) whim this weekend. Food allergies are a b!tch. Those of you that don't have them should count your lucky stars. For those of you that do, I feel your pain!

Oh -- for those of you who asked about the onigiri-shaped egg molds and other egg molds, they are now on eBay. I definitely saw some at The Bento Store, and there may be some at the other stores listed in the Links and Resources section. There is all sorts of good stuff up for auction right now. In fact, I went on a bit of a bento binge. And when I say bento binge, I really mean it. I finally got a half moon bento (and for only $12.50! - not including shipping of course) and some other things I've had my eye on for a while. Once I receive everything, I definitely will update my Bento Boxes and my Bento Equipment sections. =^.^=
